We have two options.
1. Drywall plastered
2. MDF sheets.
With the plastering the cost of materials are cheaper but it takes longer to finish. The MDF sheet costs a little more, but it requires less work and therefore can be finished quicker.  Overall an MDF media wall is 30% cheaper to make.
